TL;DR

I am stuying mathematics at TUM with a minor in computer science.
Currently, I am writing my bachelor thesis on the efficient computation of three-parameter Euler characteristic profiles for (two-dimensional) three-channel digital images in the field of topological data analysis (TDA).
As part of my thesis, I am developing the euprima package in C++ and Python.
Since March 2025 I am working as a student assistant at TUM for the interuniversity SASIM collaboration.  
My primary mathematical interests are TDA, algebraic topology, category theory, and abstract algebra.  
Apart from my studies, I am extremely curious about design, particularly typography.  
I also enjoy bird photography with an old Nikon D200.  
When I have more free time, I like to work on various coding projects most of which can be found on my GitHub account, @mazmap.

Proficiencies

Right now, I am most comfortable with Java, Python and JavaScript. I have worked with Typescript and Dart (Flutter) before and have started working with C++ for the euprima package. I version all my digital projects with Git. Starting with my bachelors thesis I began to use Neovim and have not went back to any other text editor since.

Projects

Here’s a list of things I have worked on or am currently still working on:

euprima Github: A software package for efficiently computing Euler (characteristic) profiles for image analysis mainly written in C++ and ported to Python using pybind11. More information is given in the README on Github.

gaussEx.sty Github: Reimplementation and expansion of the LaTeX 2𝜀 package gauss in LaTeX3 (expl3) syntax by modern conventions.

Schnupperstunde Mathematik Github: A-level exam script in LaTeX for mathematics, designed to teach students the true core of mathematics – far beyond "school mathematics". Based on my own script from 12th grade Shortlink to OneDrive.

This site was hard coded in pure HTML, CSS and a little bit of JavaScript. The fonts used are IBM Plex Sans and IBM Plex Mono. The heading images are from Pinterest (Source is linked on click).

TL;DR

Ich studiere Mathematik mit Nebenfach Informatik an der TUM.
Momentan schreibe ich meine Bachelorarbeit über die effiziente Berechnung von dreiparameter Euler Charakteristik Profilen für (zwei-dimensionale) dreikanal Digitalbilder im Bereich der Topologischen Daten Analyse (TDA).
Als Teil der Arbeit entwickele ich zudem das Software Paket euprima in C++ und Python.
Seit März 2025 arbeite ich als Studentische Hilfskraft an der TUM für die interuniversitäre SASIM Kollaboration.  
Mathematisch interessiere ich mich primär für TDA, algebraische Topologie, Kategorientheorie, and abstrakte Algebra.  
Neben meinem Studium interessiere ich mich sehr für Design, insbesondere für Typografie.
Ich fotografiere auch gerne Vögel mit einer alten Nikon D200.
Wenn ich mehr Freizeit habe, arbeite ich gerne an verschiedenen Coding Projekten, von denen sich die meisten auf meinen Github Profil @mazmap finden lassen.

Kompetenzen

Schnupperstunde Mathematik Github: Abitur-Skript in LaTexX für das Fach Mathematik, in dem Schülern der eigentliche Kern von Mathematik vermittelt werden soll – weit über ”Schulmathematik” hinaus. Basierend auf eigenem Skript aus der 12. Klasse: Shortlink to OneDrive.
